This one is my favorite so far. I love how Shaw was relentless in his pursuit of Presley. Presley did play hard to get, however, I didn't think she took it too far. I hate when there is too much pushing away.
The second half of this book had more going on. I felt like the beginning did drag a bit, so I was happy to see things get interesting in the second half.
I'm not sure how I feel about the heroine for the next book. Thinks were sticky for her and Presley in this one so I'll be curious how things go.
I loved the epilogue. I like it seeing years later with kids. It's fun to see things close out in happiness.

4.5*
I received an advance copy of this on behalf of the author and I volunteered to leave an honest review. My opinion has not been influenced.
I LOVED THIS.
I fall deeper in love with the Tin Gypsy series with each book. Every book gets better and every character gets richer.
This can be read as a standalone, but all the books (so far) deal with the fallout of something that happens in book one, but if you start here I don't think you'll lose anything in the telling.
The writing was incredible, and every time I read a Devney Perry book I kick myself for not reading her sooner.
This book focuses on Presley. She has been through a lot and it's been hinted at in book 1 and 2. It takes place after something that happens near the end of book 2.
The hero of this story is Shaw. I can't say a lot about what brings him to Clifton Forge because spoilers but needless to say, at first Presley is NOT impressed.
The banter in this is 10/10. Even when their relationship started, they would still go back and forth with each other.
This was one of my most anticipated reads for May and it did not let me down.

Another fantastic book in the Tin Gypsy/Clifton Forge saga. I love this town, these people Devney has created. I was excited to finally read Presley’s story. Presley has always been very guarded. She came from a rough past. I was glad when Shaw came into her life. I loved their hate to love. This book was a little slower for me but still amazing.

SO. GOOD.
This is definitely my favorites of the series.
There were a few areas where I wish there had been more but that’s it.
I absolutely loved the fact that it was a story of the making of a true crime movie... when the crime and story was books one and two.
So cool! So creative! I want more!
Writing was fabulous. The story kept me turning the page.
Devney is magic.

Presley Marks got a text that ruined her life. She was left at the altar by a tool bag. Or that's how I felt about him anyway! She returns to her lifestyle the only way she knows how- throw herself into her work. Until she hears about a movie that will be set in Clifton Forge, about the murder that happened.
Shaw Valance is a movie star, and he is set to star in said movie, but wants to know all about the town. He wants to make sure he knows all there is to know and can play the role the right way. He is dreamy and *swoon* there's no way that Presley can't notice him. But of course, they butt heads like no other- I loved that about them. Honestly their banter, I lived for it.
Once the filming wrapped, Shaw was going to go on his way- but ended up buying the house next door. And then, wouldn't you know it- Presley's ex come back to town and the real rivalry starts- the one for Presley's heart.
Devney once again give us the goods when it comes to romance, drama, heat, and a little suspense.
I was waiting for Presley's story and I was not disappointed, you won't be either.

I love how these books pick up right after the last one and all the characters are around. Ofcourse, like all the others in this series it’s a romance with a mix of suspense. Presley, left at the alter at the end of book 2, who works for Dash and all the guys at the garage, then comes into town Hollywoods biggest star, Shaw. Slow burn, abuse, friends that are family. Kept you wondering what bad was going to happen until the very end.
The beginning rehashed a lot from the previous books which I wish was shorter. Sweet epilogue of eveyrone.
