This is a lighthearted manga about a teenage Hotaru, who gets into a trial relationship with Hananoi.
For the most part, this is a cute manga. There are certain aspect of their relationship I don’t love, but hopefully as the series goes on their relationship becomes more balanced.

Overall this was very cute. The art style was really nice and the pacing of the plot was consistent. There were a couple of moments with the MMC where it was giving major red flags but later on in the novel he made a point to ask for her consent going forward before touching her so maybe it’s just a one off thing? I really liked the FMC so think I’m going to see how the story develops in Vol 2 and hopefully get some backstory on why the characters have the personality’s they do.

This is so cute! I love male leads like this (earnest and cute even if they're holding back how down bad they are) and the art is SO PRETTY I had a good time reading this! I'm glad Kodansha put it out on NetGalley even though it came out last year because that means I can go read other volumes quickly! Yes!

I found this manga to be intriguing and cute, while also slightly concerning? There's just something a bit controlling and dark about the male lead, but hopefully he's just being a bit dramatic. I will definitely continue this series.

I had heard many things about this series before i started reading, some bad & some good.
Overall I really enjoyed this fitst volume, the artstyle is freaking gorgeous and i think the story has potential.
I specifically want to see more of the main characters, i can't wait to know more about their personalities.

There were a few instances that had me side-eying the MMC but all in all, I think that the relationship between the FMC and MMC is off to an adorable start. The art style is excellent. The timing and the pacing of the plot and relationship development were nice and steady, I didn't feel it was going too fast or too slow at any point.

A bit fast and I know it's the first volume but I did like the main female character and the male one I just was hoping a little bit more happened throughout and not have it start so insta love on his part.
