3.5 stars... which is actually a pretty high rating for me to give romantic suspense. Characters made sense, plot was interesting, connects well with the previous book (but can be read as a standalone), the gross parts weren't described in detail. My main complaint would be about the flashbacks, but I always complain about those. Looking forward to book 3.

Oh, this was a fantastic book! Loved that these two got together, given what details we had of them from the first book! Can't wait to read more!

Her Lone Wolf wasn't quite as good as the previous story in the X-Ops series, Her Perfect Mate. This story was much slower, spending lots of time with the main characters tracking a serial killer and lots of time avoiding their feelings for one another. Near the end, the story branched off into three almost totally unrelated problems that made it hard to maintain the original story line. Overall, however, this was still a very good story and made for an interesting read. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
