Read as longlisted for the Womens Prize for Fiction 2024. A well written book set within modern day Palastine. The book provided insight into the struggles faced by civilians. The story centers on the theatre production of Hamlet. Knowing little about the play impacted my enjoyment of the story and connection to the charcters. I enjoyed the sister's relationship and dynamic but wanted this to be explored more in the book.
