Maybe I just don't get the whole concept.
I will read more books from around this period.
This book gave me headaches.

I fouad IT easy to read and although I already classified myself as an anarcho communist, this book does nothing but confirm the basics of what I had already learned through observation of society and reading of people experiences while being lower class and how it all connects through power (whether capitalistic or governmental in nature) is what's keeping us behind and separated as we are.

Clear and concise. Thought provoking as I compare to the social movements of my time. I’m always teetering between social democracy and anarchy, and Kropotkin makes a convincing argument for anarchist communism- he makes me believe in humans!

Good intro to theory, though I wouldn’t necessarily recommend for anyone who has read more contemporary Marxian literature. His argument was strongest at the beginning, then weakened as the essay continued. Sparked my interest in Revolutionary France, though, so that’s a plus(?).
