Concise and actionable insights for getting a business off the ground. It’s very tech oriented as it was written by a tech founder, but the principles can be applied across industries. And even though it was written in 2014 and some references no longer exist (RIP Vine), it has aged well and overall the foundational strategies can certainly be tweaked for 2021 with critical thinking and some creativity. It’s a great way to quickly learn about marketing channels that you might not spend a lot of time in, but would benefit from having an understanding of. Great for marketers and entrepreneurs working with start ups or who just want a fresh perspective on their business.

This is probably the best business advice book I have read to date. Clear, practical and to the point.

This book instills self-confidence, the belief that traction can be broken into a finite number of options, the pros and cons of each. I am a complete beginner at starting an online business, so I don't know how correct this is, but all of it seems sensible.

Great read, will read again.
