The Promised Neverland is one of those series that is beloved by manga/anime enthusiasts, but it doesn’t have the same mainstream success as something like One Piece or My Hero Academia.
However, the story, characters, and setting are all compelling and interesting, and the premise the first volume sets up is interesting and VERY dark. I can definitely see why people get heel-turned during the first volume/episode of this series. I’ve got the first six volumes, so we’ll see how I feel about this series by the end of the first six.
