angst + spice. Had me hooked from the first page
Kind of a lot going on… but tbh I loved the two characters and the spicy was 10/10 🌶 and the spice is really why I read anyway

Listen, I should've known not to trust tiktok book recommendations and not to fall for a smutty possesive older guy romance.
There is a pretty good one star review on goodreads that sums up all my issues with it as well. The little lamb /wolf thing was just not it, the military patriotism, the frankly unhealthy relationship the two have, the fact that they basically get into bdsm stuff without any proper talk beforehand, the romanticization of his insanely possessive he is, it is just wild. The end???? like, what??? I'm just not impressed I suppose. It feels like a military/mafia AU of fifty shades tbh.
