This was one book trying to be too much in one novel. I really liked the main character but I was over the entire situation at the end of the novel. At the same time, I can see my self in her, very conflicting. Above all- this was okay, decently written.

It was fine a quick read the description pretty much explains the book there really isn’t much to it it does give Devil Wears Prada of the lit world and was kinda campy/troupeish additionally I agree with the critics about the book’s language and writing made it seem kinda try hard. Still it’s a fine book to read on the subway or the beach or whatever. It doesn’t require much attention or thought to follow along so if you zone out for a few chapters it will be totes mcgotes
