Lottie reminds me a lot of the other diary format stories from my teens, like The Diary of the Wimpy Kid, Jess Jordan series, Dork Diaries, Bert Diaries (more known in Northern Europe) and The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson - all of them funny depictions of preteen angst and drama (Wasn't everything just sooo dramatic in our teen years?).

This was a wonderful and easy to read book. I enjoyed it from start to finish. It was fun to experience a 11/12 years old girl adventures through school, reminded me a little bit about my own and how I was then. It isn’t a five star book for me but it’s really close.
