This is the second book that I have read from Agatha Christie and just like the first one it was just great. The writing is so smooth and just makes you want to keep going and finish the story. I quite liked the characters because they seemed very real to me, as if I could just go out and actually meet someone who is like Iris for example. Due to them all dealing with a tragedy you don't get to see every single aspect and quirk of the protagonists, but you do not feel like they are missing something. The story was told in different ways. The first part was told from different point of views focusing on them and their feelings and experiences towards Rosemary. The last two parts were chapterwise not focused on just one character but on a few at a time.
Overall, this book is a very quick, enjoyable read that keeps you occupied and at the edge of your seat throughout the ending. The way the story ended was very surprising, but looking back it seemed to kind of make sense.

Agatha Christie finds yet another way to surprise me with her endings. This one looked a little bit too crafted like most of what actually happened is pure speculation based solely on what the characters are saying - there isn't any actual proof that it happened in the book beyond what is said. In previous books, the outcome is easier to believe. Still, I enjoyed the book, and even though it gets slow in the middle with certain situations that never get mentioned again, it gains speed at the end. I devoured the last chapters wanting to get to the unfolding of the murder.

Affairs, jealousy, manipulation, murder and mystery! This book has it all! I was totally hooked and had no idea who did it until the very end! Very enjoyable!
