What I Liked
The concept of addiction was very interesting - I like how Taylor focused on varying addictions, such as gambling. I also liked Evie's tangible desperation, how far she was willing to go to hide her sins. I appreciated the multiple narrators - they made the story move faster.
What I Didn't Like
If you asked me to describe this book in one word, my answer would be "wha?" The plot twists in so many directions. The ending and climax are so dramatic and just unbelievable to me.

This book grabbed ynu, bnd held on. There are so many twists you can't predict where this thing's going. I'm a fan of Anni Taylor's work now, I'm hooked. If you like a good psychological thriller that will keep you guessing from start to finish, with surprises at every turn you're going to love this one. I honestly started it and couldn't put it down. From that first page on, it was an amazing read. Grab it if you want somejhing that will really pull you in. The character development is phenomenal. You get involved with each one, and you never see what's coming around the next corner. It's fitting for jhis time of year. Great Fall read.t

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It kept you on the edge of your seat and hoping that all could be saved.
This was a cool concept, but was way too long. While some of the twists were pretty good, they came a bit late, when the whole story turned into an action drama.
