A good story - lost me a bit at times because of how the sections flipped back and forth. Would have liked to see more of Sersi's powers!

I read this because I had a trial of Marvel Unlimited and it's by Neil Gaiman. I hadn't read the original at all. So I lacked the background or content interest to really keep me engaged. But the writing was sharp and the art was great. I'm just unlikely to read the originals any time soon.

I re-"read" this right after watching the new MCU Eternals, in its motion comic format, and was really disappointed in the Gaiman/Romita version. It's modernized at least from the much-harder-to-get-through original Kirby series, but plenty of problematic trash is present. Druig in particular is made into a horrific Russian mob-esque villain.

A decent read, but Gaiman can do much better.
