Doerr is a phenomenal short story writer who blends the twists and turns into each other. It will test your perspective on memory, your life, the future.

All the Light We Cannot See was one of my favorite books of 2014, so when I saw this short story collection by Anthony Doerr, I had to give it a try, and I was not disappointed. Doerr's writing flows effortlessly. Just as there was a bit of surrealism in All the Light We Cannot See, the title story, Memory Wall is about a South African woman has Alzheimer's, who can plug into her life memories, like we can plug into an iPod.
My two favorite stories are Village 113 and The River Nemunas.
