I've been let down by TikTok romantasy recommendations too many times to count, but the hype that this has gotten is well-deserved. A totally new and creepy magic system that flies off the page, a cast of really intriguing characters and a romance that isn't the focal point of the story all comes together in a really well done novel. Can't wait to dive into the next one and see where it's going!

This was so easy to read, it was such a joy. The writing wasn't basic or anything, it was still beautiful but just easy to read and very interesting, kept me captivated! 

I am glad there was only one s*x scene and one kiss scene, much more preferred. I liked the world and the fantasy of it. I enjoyed our characters and I just love magic card stuff, always here for tarot related stuff.

A dark fantasy with a card system for magic. It’s different and frankly refreshing. I couldn’t stop reading it.

What a horribly cruel cliffhanger ending!!!

I recommend waiting until the series is complete tbh.

The magic system is fascinating & the lore is intriguing. It’s like a dark and twisted fairytale full of riddles & rhymes. An epic quest full of shock & horror and a sprinkle of slow-burn romance.

It’s not FTB but the spice is mild. 

Idk if this is categorized as a romance, but unless there’s an HEA- I might trash it in my fury & rage! I am REELING after that ending!! Toddler tantrum level 3000!!!

Caveat emptor. Buyer beware.
