I'm concerned this is another omegaverse author's work being run through AI.
There are way too many similarities. Why is no one talking about this?

I actually really loved it. There’s no massive fall out or unnecessary drama it was just really sweet!
I knew right off the bat this was not going to be it. The California Chargers in the NHL? The LA Chargers already exists! This has to be ai because beings who actually eat food don’t talk about it like that… and literally never referring to her baby as “baby” but “parasite” every single mention??

I have loved all of Melissa Huxley’s books and this one was no different. It was so great! Daisy was drawn to Jeremy’s apartment by the smell of his cooking just like the Pied Piper!!! She had been suffering from terrible all-day sickness and his food smelled delicious to her. And that was the start of this beautiful relationship!
Pregnant and alone because her previous alpha was a dickhead, Daisy called to all of Jeremy’s protective alpha instincts. He knew she was special from the first meeting! When he went back to pack house for a visit he raved about her to his pack mates Devon and Nate.
Devon was all for meeting the cute pregnant omega but Nate, not so much! Well, things happen (as they so often do) and tempers fly and emotions run high!
This book was excellent! Cute as heck story, absolutely fabulous characters, sizzling spice and a tremendous HEA! Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!!!

This is a super sweet, low (no?) conflict story with instalove and caring for a very pregnant omega. If you want cozy, comforting vibes, this is it.
Did really enjoy that and the guys. Nate was a dick and def needed some therapy to cope with his trauma rather than unleashing it on his pack mates….wish that was addressed. But it’s lovely when he comes around.
For a hockey romance, it had almost no hockey and I was really really okay with that. Frankly that’s not the strength of most authors and what I care about is the emotional depth of the relationships and the intimacy that comes from OV relationships. The story was more interesting bc of their interests and careers outside of hockey.
Wild though that the guys didn’t get her to a doctor sooner, considering her terrible medical care 🙄
Also hilarious how the author def doesn’t realize new drugs take years not months (even if it’s manufacturing an existing formula). Oh America.
Wish the characters were more diverse (presumably white guy who cooks Korean food thanks to his Korean step dad was the extent of ethnic identity and diversity in this book). It’s always refreshing to see diff cultural aspects incorporated into the story and I feel like this was missing that.
Anyway take the above criticisms with a grain of salt (that’s just what it would take to be five stars/be more of a banger for me)….it was a very enjoyable OV read and I’m looking forward to the next one.

I really hoped I was done with the DNF books, but something about this week has my patience at zero.
A NHL playing plus part time contractor who actually hates hockey and would rather be a contractor full time. He does both those jobs but somehow has weeks/months/I can't remember to sit around and cater to this woman? Rarely leaves town?
Whiny asf FMC. If something isn't top quality in her life, she's gonna tell us AND the MMCs. Her laptop that needs to be replaced (instead of just letting us see that it's slow and dingy or something, she has to monologue how she needs a new one), her "lumpy bed" that kills her back every time she sleeps, her broken oven that wouldn't make the "budget version" of the fries she was craving (so of course the MMC had to take her out for the non-budget version fries instead), the free clinic she could only afford one maternity appointment for, the bus she has to ride because she doesn't have a car, the food cravings she can't meet in the middle of the night because she'd have to take the bus, and on and on and on. It's like the opposite of humble bragging where she "humbly" tells us and the MMCs how poor she is and every way in which she's struggling. She doesn't want to be a burden, but she'll freely hint to them everything they can do to fix her life.
The other two MMCs are an afterthought, and one doesn't grovel nearly enough.
Insta-love. The annoying kind.
For a hockey romance, this has very little hockey....
This storyline was so familiar to me. I skimmed ahead and can confirm that almost this exact same storyline has been done before and better by another author.
