This was my first Kristen Callihan and I loved it. This enemies to lovers had the perfect amount of angst banter. Lucien is a total Cinnamon Roll. I really like how much care he put into the food he made. It had me craving some awesome pastries. All the side characters were wonderful and added a little extra to the story.

Review copy provided by Netgalley, but all opinions are mine.

This book is quintessentially Kristen Callihan - mega famous characters dealing with trauma and difficult topics, turning to each other for companionship as they grow. Lovely relationship with hot, steamy scenes and delectably deep characters. The drama sometimes feels over the top and redundant - by the end I felt like I had been on a roller-coaster that kept repeating its own highs and lows, but it was still a fun read with some surprising substance.
