What a great book.  I loved Fiona and Yale as my eyes into Chicago in the 1980s.  All the characters were terrific and complicated and felt very real to me which made me care about them, flaws and all.  Heartbreaking and lovely.

It took me a while to get into this book but I ended up loving the characters and enjoying the way that the story of the 1980’s and 90’s impacted the story of the present day.

Such a beautifully written book. I love how this author writes her characters and their development as the story progresses. A heartbreaking story about the AIDS epidemic in the 80’s in Chicago, definitely worth the read!
