I enjoyed this book for the most part, it was a fun and quick read, but what really ruined it for me were the couple of sex scenes and phrases like "pleasure tool" and "goodie box". Also the ending was super rushed and kind of like a "gotcha" moment, which I didn't care for.

I freaking adore free books from Kindle Unlimited!
I also like how KU is sometimes on point with recommending books because I really needed a good laugh.

Daniella Belle is absolutely hilarious. She also has a dream job and of course everything goes from bad to terrible to fucking horrendous on the day of her interview. She gets dumped over text by a douchebag because obviously people who dumb via phone are complete assholes. Then she bumps into a super drop dead gorgeous guy who smears jelly on her dress. Now any normal person would probably have a rant like Daniella did - but I just laughed so much when I read it that I started to cry. I probably would have done the same thing in that situation but it was really funny.

Oh, and the guy who accidentally smeared jelly on her that morning.. is the guy who's holding the interview. Things are about to get interesting.. Now, Antonio (jelly guy) is hot. I probably would have left him smeared jelly on my dress without complaints.

I, of course, started shipping Antonio and Daniella from the very start because let's face it - Daniella needed something good in her life to look forward to. I seriously hope there's going to be another book about these two because I have a feeling I'm going to miss them so much!

Other than that.. go read this book for yourself and I hope I didn't spoil anything.. I haven't had coffee yet!

So so

I couldn’t really connect to the characters before everything went down. There were some interesting scenes but overall it was a cliche book. It was a quick read, at least.

I enjoyed this story.
There’s not the usual back and forth between the characters about their feelings.
Antonio wants Daniella but he’s her boss. And Daniella is also attracted to Antonio but she’s his assistant.
This is a slow burn romance. Which I enjoyed because they didn’t go at each other after the next day they met and then saying how it was a mistake and it should have not ever happen.
Nothing happens between the characters, besides the thoughts of each other, not until chapter 27 when Daniella is the one to kiss Antonio.

But Antonio has kept something from Daniella and now their relationship is put to the test.
Did Antonio lie to Daniella?
Can Daniella trust in Antonios’ love?

And although I love the epilogue I would really love to see Jonah and Lizas’ story! Is there a short novella for them?

Strong start, sleazy middle, rushed finish.

An entertaining read with plenty of laughs. The chemistry between this pair is so good, even when they're bickering, making the story so much fun. The bro, dude, and man speak was a bit over the top and distracting, but other than that, I completely enjoyed Daniella and Antonio's story.

Method: audiobook

Rating: 3/5 stars

H rating: 3/5 - Antonio..Ehh not a fave hero, but he was ok.

h rating: 2/5 - Daniella. She was cool. I just think this book wasn't really calling to me.

Drama: 2/5 - Very minimal drama. More romcom.

Thoughts: Interesting book, first from this author. Not a bad one! Narrators were pretty good.

Cute concept, nice spin

I love Cinderella knockoffs which is exactly why I had to check this one out. I found the spin on the original to be quite interesting. I was a bit disappointed by how fast paced some of the book proved to be. There were definitely times when a bit more detail would have helped to round out the story. Also the epilogue, while sweet, didn’t fit with the story at all and should have been its own story altogether.
