After a hunt for a lost swimsuit leads to a treasure map, the Roanokes set off on another adventure. Expecting to find jewels, gold, and goblets, the Roanokes are somewhat disappointed and confused to find pieces of a statue. After gluing it back together, the statue springs to life as an ancient Greek looking woman--who is understandably confused. Thinking that Diane, also known as the goddess Artemis, could shed some light on this predicament, the Roanokes bring the woman back to camp, but the woman soon reveals herself to be quite dangerous. Can the Roanokes save the day--and one of their own?

In volume 14, the charm of the series has not worn off and the friendship bonds between the Roanokes shine brighter than ever. While many curiosities still abound, some hints are dropped in this volume.

As usual an adventure is had by all when, instead of finding her swimsuit under her bed, Riley finds a treasure map. Although, in true Lumberjanes fashion, the treasure turns out to be less valuable and more dangerous. The adults try to intervene, but as usual, the Lumberjanes somehow manage to prevail.
