This was ok. Fast read. The writing was ok. The dialog sucked at times, ha see bad pun. Get use to those. I'm going to continue to book two Stake That bc I have a bind-up but I don't see myself continuing farther than that.

I bought this book during my vampire phase where I would consume anything involving vampires no matter the quality, but I found this one just too childish, like a self-insert fantasy.

I think I would have enjoyed this if I was younger. I found the writing extremely simple. And the references extremely childish. Sometimes I'm ok with younger style writing, but for this type of book, I was hoping for maybe a bit more maturity. Especially with dealing with millennium aged Vampires and historical characters. I did like that Sunny didn't take to being bit. She freaked out, how any normal 16 year old would. She had the attitude and flat out selfishness that I expected to see. Her sister was awesome in helping her out. At first I thought she'd be awful, but she was great. The ending was a weird twist. Not sure I will continue the series due to it not being a bit too childish.

This was a free book. The main character was 16 so that was really hard for me to keep us with since there was a lot of whining. It was okay but I won’t read any more in this series.

I ended up reading this last night, which is why I was so tired today lol
A little disappointed. Ending felt rushed. It was a little eye roll worthy, if that makes any sense. I know it's a YA novel, but it felt to young to me. I usually enjoy YA so this surprised me.
