Just the best classic murder mystery from the queen of crime! This was actually my first classic murder mystery thriller read (besides some of Sherlock Holmes) and I loved it! Theres something about the story telling and writing from all those years ago that comes alive to keep you entertained!

Really want to but not sure I will read her other works like Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot just because reading those books will be a huge a commitment!

Excellent mystery, I figured who would be the last standing. I could never fathom the mystery of it all.

It would be very easy for an ensemble cast of 10 characters all conversing in largely the same location to become muddled and confusing. "Who is this again?" This book avoids that completely - every character has a well defined voice and is immediately recognizable when they speak. (The voices in the audiobook version I listened to certainly help as well.)

The intrigue keeps coming for the entire duration and never overstays its welcome. The rhyme is just the right amount of creepy and foreboding.

Spoiler for the ending:
I'm also incredibly glad that we find out what actually happened and how they did it. Leaving it as ambiguous would've just made it unsatisfying. Well executed (hah), Mr. Wargrave.
