The Yotsuba arc continues and I still find it to be dull and a chore to get through this part. I enjoy the espionage from outside members Aiber and Wedy, but because this is the only time we see them, they don’t get a chance to develop or shine in the grand scheme of the series. I liked the setup for the attempted capture and arrest of Higuchi, but the real showdown takes place in the next volume, and luckily the series picks back up after this.

Death Note takes another wild turn! The investigation heats up with L suspecting the Yotsuba group, but the real Kira remains hidden. Enter Misa, brought in to sniff out Kira. But things get personal when she learns who Kira is and is willing to do anything to help... even if it means trouble for L! Her goal is to help Light at any costs.

This was my first manga, and holy crap the story was so amazing. I was entirely taken by surprise exactly how good this was. I was not a fan of the end, though. I felt like it was rushed. If the ending were wrapped up, it would have easily been a 5.0/5.0 stars for me. That ending really ticked me off.
