This was heart-wrenching! I cried at the ending. My heart aches for the lives that were lost. This is a beautiful piece of art and you should read it if you get a chance!

A short graphic novel about a pair of lovers -- one American, one German -- during the rise of the Nazis. It does not have a happy ending, be warned. I liked the art and it flowed really well; despite the length, it definitely packs a punch.
