Wasn’t a great Colleen. The story had such good potential but it was just repetitive and boring. The ending was also bad.

Книга не достойна рейтинга 4.23, имхо. Я читала ее, когда ехала в поезде. 4 часа. Я уснула над ней дважды.
Интрига с самого начала мне понравилась, я надеялась, что Хувер постепенно расскажет, почему ребята потеряли память, но нифига - все, что мы получаем, это блуждания Чарли и Силаса по городу, непонятки с отношением родителей/семьи, непонятки с их отношениями. И в конечном итоге книга заканчивается внезапным поворотом судьбы... который меня вовсе не впечатлил.
Я оттягивала прочтение книги, ибо думала, что она классная, ведь не зря рейтинг высокий, много положительных отзывов, но, но... Прочту вторую часть чисто для галочки, когда на полке закончатся книги, которые мне бы хотелось прочесть.

Despite the controversy, I am quite a CoHo fan for an easy but gripping read.

I don't really know what the deal is with this book or novella or whatever it is, and I can't say I liked it.
This plot was super intriguing and it's Colleen Hoover, so it has to be good, right? Well, the entire thing is confusing and absolutely nothing is answered or explained. Like, I understand it's being released in parts or whatever (why??), but you'd think at least something would start making sense by the end.
I haven't read anything by Tarryn Fisher, and I'm not able to tell who wrote what because I'm not that good, but I really disliked the writing style. It seemed so unlike Colleen Hoover, and everything was told instead of shown.
The characters and the "romance" did nothing for me, parts of the plot were blah, and it ends on a strange cliffhanger. I don't want to continue with this series, but I feel like I only read a small portion of a story, so I have to. Or maybe I'll just read a review with spoilers when it comes out and not waste my time.

I picked this book up at Costco because it was $10, I was with my Dad, and bored. I also believe this was the last Colleen Hooever book I read. Idek how do I say this, I just don't think about this ever. Like it was good enough to keep me captivated and something to do, but like no? These characters were strange, the whole story set up was weird, like it kinda felt like a reason to write smut with no real plot or direction. Idk this just didn't change my life, but it was okay. I think if I never read this book my life would have been okay.
