Main Characters
The two main characters are Silas and Charlie. They are 17 and have both lost their memory of people and who they are. Leading to them having to go through life not knowing anything. Charlie is presented as this bitch honestly. She's mean and rude to everyone. Every time she does anything polite it's explicitly shown that people are in shock. Anyway her story line is...I'm not sure. Finding her memory, falling in love with Silas? Yeah I guess. But for her there are so many other things brought up for it to just go no where. Like when she gets kidnapped and then nothing happens. And it's never mentioned again. Then there's her dad and how he's evil but that's also just forgotten for the romance. Sadly these things are far more interesting then her romance with Silas.
Silas is the guy and he likes Charlie. That's his story. He loves Charlie and he hates his dad. Silas doesn't really have a personality that isn't how nice he is or how much he just adores Charlie. (BTW they have forgotten everything, he didn't even know her!) Silas is nice and boring and his chapters were way to long. I found Charlies chapters better written but that's probably because Colleen didn't write those ones.

Part 1
Although I just criticised the two main characters part 1 was very interesting. I was making theories just like Charlie and Silas and was really hoping that CoHo would stop with making everything romance. Part 1 was good and I was absolutely shocked when Silas found the letters and that they had been losing their memories for a week. Amazing. But sadly the book just kept going downhill after this.

Part 2
Part 2 started strange. Charlie had been kidnapped and the pair had been separated. I was still interested, wondering where this kidnapped plot would go. But as said before nothing does. Who kidnaps her is not revealed until part 3 I think. Nothing else that I can remember happens in part 2.

Part 3
This was the worst and most anticlimactic part ever. Again, besides revealing who kidnapped Charlie, the kidnapping plot is dropped. The book does not explain why exactly they lost their memories. Just that it happened because the universe said so. Charlie and Silas fall in love and guess what? They stop losing their memories. No explanation. The book just ends.

Een apart en onrealistisch verhaal. We zo interessant dat ik hem heel snel uit heb gelezen. Leuk voor als je even iets anders wilt.

I just could not get into it and didn’t have the patience to keep trying

Super quick pace and I enjoyed most of the story line, but what the heck was up with the tarot lady keeping Charlie in her basement?? And then very little explanation from her dad. Weird loose end that didn’t really get tied up.

I only read this because it was free on Prime Reading. It still wasn’t worth it.
