O Henry is known for his surprise elements and unimaginative twists. This story was no different either. I couldn't have seen that ending coming from far a mile. But I didn't necessarily like this story as much as the others by Henry.

But hey, it's short. And I do believe that it contains a very important moral message for today's society.
