Listened to the audiobook performed by Stephen Briggs.
Just a really lovely book. Tiffany is a great character. I nearly cried at the description of her memory of giving the sheperdess statue to Granny Aching- what a specific feeling Pratchett was able to capture. Pratchett’s world building and the way he writes about magic continues to astound me.

This is my number 1 favorite book of all time. I have read it upwards of 50 times. It is my comfort book that I can pick up and open to any page and start reading. I know this book better than any other and yet I still cry every time I read it, and still feel my heart fill with every chapter. I have never felt so emotionally attached to characters and stories as I do with Tiffany and the feegles. I adore every Tiffany book but as this is the first, this is the one I read the most. It will forever hold a very special place in my heart. I miss Terry Pratchett very much and still mourn the loss of one of the greatest writers of all time. This book makes you laugh, makes you cry, makes you think, and makes you marvel at his talent for writing diverse, loveable, and relatable characters. I will never in my life get bored of this story.
Moderate: Death
Minor: Animal cruelty, Animal death, and Grief
Every difficult topic touched on in any Terry Pratchett novel is done with grace and care. This book is wholesome to the highest degree. However he is talented at pointing out the best and worst of people, and still leaving you feeling hopeful.neminaf's review

Still a joy to re-read this book. The characters, the ideas, the language, the honesty. Always.
