Good read!

Loved the anime and been buying the books for a while. Only now had a chance to read them. Can't wait to read the next book!

I love the anime to bits and have watched it at least five times, but somehow I hadn't read the manga up until now.

I will mary Kiki and nobody can stop me Mitsuhide can fuck off she is mine.

I'm giving this three stars because there wasn't anything problematic or awful in this volume, but it wasn't interesting to me at all. Shirayuki and Zen are decent enough characters and I can understand the chemistry they have, but I wasn't invested in either of them. Mitsuhide and Kiki were fun, but again not that interesting. The artwork was okay, but I feel like the mangaka could have gotten more detailed in expressions and serious moments. Also, if I took a shot every time someone mentioned Shirayuki's red hair or the fact that it's read, I would have been WASTED by the end of chapter 2.

This isn't a bad first volume and I am glad I picked it up, since so many people gave it praise, but I found it okay at best. I won't be continuing with the series, but I recommend it for people to try. I'm sure most people will like it more than me and I certainly hope they do.

I love this series so much but I’m realizing that the anime added a lot of backstory that I also adored. There were also some really cute panels I wish they adapted. Overall the story is cute simple and fun love it

Not anything really breath taking. I will give it another volume, cause I have seen some of the anime and really liked it, but if it doesn't catch my attention by then I might just stick to watching.

Love the relationship that starts between Shirayuki and Zen.
Shirayuki - favourite character so far
Love that each chapter is centred on medicine in some way (4th being Shirayuki starting to see if she can become a pharmacist for the court, example)
