Oof, this book was heavy. My heart hurts.
I liked it, but it felt too real at times. The sadness and the family dynamics were heart breaking and feel good at times…weird huh?
It was nicely written, felt slow in parts but it was needed to set the story up.

I loved this book. Can't find a fault in it.
Relatable characters. Cosy settings that are easy to visualise. Gripping story. Heartbreaking and powerful. I look forward to reading more Paige Toon.

This was not what I expected. I say that about all Paige Toon books. She makes me question what I would do if I was in these impossible circumstances whilst falling in love. Anders was so sweet and dedicated and devoted. I loved the setting, even though the racing lifestyle didn’t seem accurate (there’s no way he could get that many days off)

I was reading the book fairly slow, one chapter a day, but I couldn’t put it down when I got to the second half of the book. I don’t usually want slow burn romance but I loved this book.
