After a slow start, I really adored this. I think that’s almost entirely due to the male love interest who is utterly swoonworthy. It’s worth reading just for him.

I really liked this book! How Poppy and Alex individually change as they go on their vacations over the years, them being polar opposites but liking they're polar opposites, and the whole aspect of them seeing the other as their 'home' is the type of love you don't see in movies and TV often.

Overall this story is definitely worth the read, and all of the threads are tied in the end :)

didn't really care about the characters or the relationship but i did like them/the relationship and i was already over 50% and wanted to know what had happened between them, so i kept reading.

I found it okay overall, but it isn’t one I would read again. It just isn’t my type of book I think. The lack of clear communication frustrated me. Also, I prefer closed door romance. I find myself feeling pretty uncomfortable unless I’m skipping through. I just don’t need all the details; it’s not for me. Over all fun though, and I do appreciate the character growth of Poppy

I generally don’t like romance novels. But this one was different. It had character. And heart. And humor. I felt for Alex and Poppy. I rooted for them. I could relate to and understand their trepidation of falling head-over-heals in love with someone. It’s was a mystery and a thriller. A slow burn and a page turner. I’m so glad I read it.
