the first half was reallllllly slow and i was kinda being a hater bc im tired of reading then and now stories but it really grew on me. i just really liked the two main characters together. alex was so lovable and practical and thought out everything and poppy was fun and spontaneous and strong willed and somehow they just fit so perfectly i really loved them and they telling of the story through multiple vacations was fun however i always tried to zoom through the past chapters bc i was more interested in the present story. even though the past chapters probably held more value to the story.. idk regardless it was fun and i enjoyed it for the most part

So so cute. We love a good friends to lovers. Definitely drawn out and if people just said what they felt things would move quicker but I’m still here for it. Perfect summer romance read!
