I loved this book! Bree was an incredible heroine, with depth and strength. The supporting cast were just as developed. I can't wait to read more as the series continues.

Overall, this was an entertaining read! I decided to listen to the audiobook and found it quite interesting. In my opinion, I was confused at the beginning. It took awhile for me to understand the concept of the magic. I had to go over different parts twice sometimes.

I really liked the world building and diverse characters! The story was medium paced but had plot twists and action scenes!

I had a good time with this and will check out the next book in the series!

the lore and magic system is a bit much to wrap your head around at first but this story is amazing! the writing and layered history is so well done, at about 50% through i couldn’t put this book down!
