The plot is actually solid, and it took me a decent amount of time to figure out “who did it.” Those factors made me keep reading. The main reason I rated it so low is because it reads like a first draft that was published in a hurry or just sent out on kindle unlimited to pop up when someone searched the author’s name which is exactly how I found it. In addition to the lack of editing the characters simply weren’t believable much of the time and thus I wasn’t invested in their lives.
