Will Herondale my beloved

I liked this one better than the first one and I will forever be a Will girl
adventurous dark emotional hopeful mysterious tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

While this story is still exciting and I love 95% of the characters the love triangle is literally physically painful. I just cannot — it hurts :( I also find it inexplicable how both Will and Jem have no idea that the other is in love with Tessa, they are both so freaking obvious about it. It’s frankly ridiculous. I cannot wait for this to resolve itself cause I feel so freaking bad for both Will and Jem and also Tessa. Love the book but this love triangle SUCKS.

It’s been 10 years since I’ve read this absolute masterpiece, and my horrible memory has graciously gifted me with the art of not remembering most of the details of this book/series.

With that being said, THE EMOTIONS IVE BEEN THROUGH WERE RAW. I’ve said this over and over but this is the most heartbreaking love triangle in teen fantasy fiction I’ve ever experienced. The characters have so much depth and they’re constantly evolving and especially seeing Will’s “wall” come down is such a gift to be able to ‘witness’ as a reader.

I adore the shadowhunters series with all my heart and deciding to re-read all of these was a BRILLIANT choice.

Cassandra Clare; You just broke my heart !<3 I Love You so much!<3

HELP

I'm getting pretty sick of love triangles in YA, but I was more upset that the plot made almost no progress. I kept waiting for some big reveal, betrayal or twist, and...nothing. But yeah, love triangles, can we think of something new for girls to agonize over?

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH Cassandra Clare cómo puedes hacerme esto!!!! Pobre Will, estúpida Tessa, estúpido Jem por estar enfermo. No sé, necesito meditar sobre cómo me siento al respecto T.T

this just slaps so hard
