I only like one or two stories from the entire collection and that's not even half. So I guess 2-star is appropriate.

Depending on your taste you might like this book. From the gender stuff you can really tell it was written in 2006. Every female character is a written to be a love interest with not a lot of personality.

I found the artwork somewhat pleasing, but the stories didn't really draw me in.

I'm less of a comics short story person.... but i love both artist's work in terms of color, space, expression. A joy to read.

Nice little short story collection. Why do all the women have to look so super thin though?

Collection of vignettes about young people in Brazil with the requisite touch of South American magical realism. Kinda cool, nice art and two stars feels a little harsh, but all the stories felt a bit incomplete. Slice of life, but missing a narrative edge.

This is a collection of short stories written and illustrated by Ba and Moon. I love their storytelling, especially how the capture quiet, reflective moments in peoples’ lives. Something which is lovely about this book is how as well as each writing and drawing their own stories, they have written stories for the other to draw. One story is drawn by one brother and then again by the other. It is really interesting to see the differences and similarities between the two interpretations.
