I DNFed when a female character was described as “sexy, but not in the pouty, little girl way.” I beg your predatorial pardon??
This was a lot of fun! Perhaps a little long, and the protagonist was frustratingly slow on the uptake at times. But overall I enjoyed the overarching mystery as well as the little character studies.
