While I did enjoy our protagonist and her journey I got very bored with the constant stops and starts. This is a book that should be one point of view, or at most two, but instead bounces through so many characters and quasi characters that whatever propulsion the story has never really gets anywhere. A shame because our hero is so great!

Tartottam egy kicsit a könyvtől mert azt olvastam a kritikákban, hogy a szerző túlírta a regényt, néhány helyen ellaposodik a történet. Szerencsére a negatív véleményeken túllépve adtam egy esélyt és nem bántam meg. A könyv elégé hosszan és lassan vezeti a történetet, de hasonlóan jó mint a szerzőtől korábban olvasott Lépcsők városa. Az írónak megvan a saját stílusa nem kell hinni a reklámszövegnek ami Stephen Kinghez hasonlítja (őt mellesleg amúgy sem szívesen olvasom). Aki szereti a misztikumot annak ajánlom, ez ugyanis nem véres belezős, vagy zsigeri rettegést keltő horror.
So strange and wonderful. Foreboding and creepy and even sometimes moving. For fans of David Lynch or the XFiles or Fringe, though in reality, it's not quite any of those.

This has easily become my ner favorite book. I was SO shocked left and right. In the beginning I was just constantly going "wtf is going on?! I want answers" then it turned into me just gasping, mouth wide open. I felt like I was spiraling by the end. So fantastic. It never once was boring. It kept me in a chokehold the entire ride.
