I'm sure this book is really helpful and validating to people who need it, but I found this to be a pretty run-of-the-mill "finding myself in my 20s" book.

this book has stuck with me since the moment I put it down. love doesn't have to only come in the form of romance! female platonic love is one of the most beautiful parts of the human experience, recommend this book to everyone

i liked it better than her other book ghosts that i read. this book feels so candid and she is a great story teller but i'm also like HOW DOES SHE HAVE THIS MANY GOOD STORIES? like how does anyone live this many wild tales? one thing about the memoir though is that it took me a bit to read bc unlike other stories where a plot really hooks you in, this never really does that because it's a compilation of stories from her real life. also something that did get a little confusing is sometimes i didn't know what was going on/when the story was being written from because it felt a bit scatter brained like jumping all over the place and in different formats and tbh i thought i was really paying attention but then found myself confused who people were but not caring enough to try and figure it out lol. i think i would've appreciated everything to be 100% chronological? i also appreciated that she reaches becoming 30 in the book because we're not so diff in age so it felt like comforting and also relatable reading about her life and her opinions on things

Three stars (albeit a touch generous) for the tidbits of wisdom sprinkled through the anecdotes of being wrong and loud in your twenties and platonic love. I would have appreciated that clarification before reading.
