Another great thriller in the Kate Marshall series. As an avid thriller/mystery reader I already guessed the killer quite early on in the book, but another twist had me questioning my guess. Excited to read the next instalment in this series. (Which I'll be doing right after.)

I read the first 2 in the series, so I feel like this was the main reason this book started a little slow for me. I was just weary of reading. But, the plot is good, and I was kept guessing right up until the end! Isn’t that what we strive for when reading a mystery? The pace picked up quickly halfway through, and the characters were all I interesting. It especially helps when the chapters will vary with different protagonists. This writer is better than most I’ve read lately with great descriptions and involved characters. I would recommend the whole series.
Well written…yet slow and not much happens. Mostly digging about up a cold case. There are spoilers in this book for his previous books in the series.
