After finishing these I feel like I’ve just woken up from a dream; I can still see and feel everything that happened but I have no idea how to put any of it into actual words. I have to reread most of these cause a lot of them sadly went completely over my head. (I listened to the audiobook and my brain just couldn’t keep up)

I loved “a society” and it’s now one of my favourite short stories.

This was me after finishing most of these stories:
“I can’t remember a thing. Everything’s moving, falling, slipping, vanishing....” , - Virginia Woolf, The mark on the wall

Virginia Woolf was truly a genius with words. Sadly, there's a couple of novellas I simply don't "get". However, when she's at her finest, like in "A society" or "The mark on the wall", she's unrivalled in understanding the mind and society.

I really enjoyed this small collection, but my favorites were A Haunted House, Green and Blue, and Kew Gardens.

The short stories has Virgina Woolf unique and beautiful writing and they are wonderful to read. I would read her shopping list and find it delightful, but that being said the story's was maybe to short for my taste to really stand out. Still a 3 stars but not my favorite of her works
