10/10 : The rave reviews for this book aren’t wrong; it’s belly-laugh out loud funny, honest & full of clever wit, an insightful peek inside the NHS, through the eyes of a junior doctor, progressing up the ranks. We are so, so, so incredibly fortunate to have not only the NHS, but the selfless individuals who tirelessly work within the system. This was a fascinating, heartbreaking & hilarious read - an accomplishment only an NHS worker could achieve! Let’s hope we still have an NHS in the not so distant future...

Absolutely amazing book! I’ve never read a book in this sort of style before and I must say I think it’s an amazing take on a medical style book! Throughout reading this book I can honestly say I laughed out loud so many times! Even though the book is filled with plentiful amounts of humour, it simultaneously puts across a very important message of the sheer devotion doctors have for their job! Overall an amazing book, would 100% recommended even if you are a bit squeamish :)

My favorite happy book of the year :D Happened to read this while traveling and disturbed everyone around me with all the giggling. Fast paced, incredibly witty, and make sure to please read all the footnotes along the way!
This was so well written, planned, and while being genuinely hilarious also totally broke my heart. This is a must read - particularly for those in government..
