overall i loved it. it's such a long book it seemed, and OOFFF the last chapter!! very very very good i adore briala. this whole book makes me yarn for playing DAI again.

a lot of it is a race allegory written by a white man, (who’d probably tell you it wasn’t an allegory for anything if you asked) so like... there’s some clunkiness to that that gets distinctly uncomfortable for me at parts, but otherwise it’s fine.
