Way too long.
The audio book was funny for about 30 minutes but it got boring and repetitive soon after.

A fantasy book about life after social media. Suspend your disbelief and strap in for a fun one.

My rating might be a little harsh but I found this very disappointing. I’m a huge fan of James’ comedy and have loved his previous books but this one fell short. It’s basically one joke (James leaves social media & tries to find ways to replace the things he liked about it in real life) but stretched far too thin. I can’t even say I found it funny in parts, it became a bit of a slog to just finish.

This truly tests your appetite for whimsical flights of fantasy to their limit, and it’s a tribute to Jane Bacaster that she almost pulls it off!
