Is this book ridiculous? Yes
Did I storm through it in 4 days? Also yes.

Having really enjoyed The President is Missing, I was looking forward to reading this one, and it didn't disappoint! It's a classic political thriller, with some good old special forces action - it's like the movie Air Force One crossed with Jack Ryan, and I loved it.

The President's Daughter follows ex-POTUS (and ex- Navy Seal) Matt Keating, as he fights (both politically and literally) a terrorist threat against his teenage daughter. The partnership of James Patterson and Bill Clinton works - Patterson brings the thriller tension, and Clinton brings the knowledge.

I'd 100% read another of these - you know exactly what you're getting, and it doesn't disappoint. And if you haven't read The President is Missing - this is not a sequel, you can read either!

Thanks to Cornerstone, and NetGalley for the pre-release review copy of this book.

I really enjoyed this book. They think they are kidnapping a regular college kid. Boy were they wrong. And if you listen to it Tony Goldwyn reads the role as the President!

Thriller which covers terrorism as well as the political dealings of a president and a former president. When Matt Keating, former Navy Seal, loses a second term to his VP, he heads to New England for some solitude. But since there was a failed capture during his presidency, resulting in the death of the family, revenge against the former president’s family is taken by kidnapping his daughter. Matt is now on a mission to recover her at all costs.
For those who enjoy suspense and thrills relating to politics, you will enjoy this.

A book that will draw you in with nonstop action. I enjoyed the read though many of the big reveals were eerily similar to his earlier book “The President is Missing”. Outlandish yet enticing, the book is a typical Patterson.

Good read

Slower and harder to get into than The President’s Missing. Picked up in the last third of the book. I appreciate the strong female characters! Well written and developed. I will keep reading collabs between these two
