Another solid book in the Red Rising Series.  I had sort of assumed this was a trilogy until my friend told me he was reading book 4 so now I am wondering where it will go from where it left off.  This one again had some nice twists and turns that kept me entertained.

I almost DNF this book halfway through as it was SO slow and I was struggling to stay present in the world building-and boy am I glad I stuck it out. What a finale to an amazing trilogy. Even though it had a slow start it had such intense political and military strategy that my mind was blown at the end. It wraps up the story in a wonderful but realistic way and left me in all the feels. This trilogy was a 5 star read for me even if this book had its slow and very sad parts. If you enjoy political and war strategy and incredible world building this is the series for you. It’s a beautifully written masterpiece about the truth of society and war and the strength of man.  This trilogy will stay with me forever and I will hold many of these characters (especially Severo) close to my heart always.
