This story is so dark and so hot and so readable, you won't want to put it down, but the more you like it the more you'll question yourself 'should I really be enjoying this?'.
Silver/Rose is such a strong character your can only hope you could be as strong a woman as she is and still survive to be able to love.
Kirk/James is dark and moody, you can see he is suffering but you can figure out why. You can't help but fall for him even though you know it's wrong.
This book is fast paced and has an awesome plot with plenty of twists and turns to keep you reading. Some of the scenes are so dark and so real it's hard to remember it's only fiction but on the other hand you know it's not, and that is the life some women live.
Skye Callahan really knocks it out of the ball park with this one, can't wait to read from Kirk/James' point of view too.

Good. Not Great

The writing in this wasn't fantastic. I didn't feel drawn in and at times felt a little lost? Like the assumed we knew something? Good storyline, but not a fan of the writing

WOW!

It's been a while since I read anything dark/erotic, and Irrevocable by Skye Callahan was just the perfect read!

Silver woke up one day with no recollection of how she got in the basement that she was held captive in. Slowly, she started to understand what was going on.

Silver's life was changed drastically the day she was kidnapped. Now having a master, being a slave to someone; nothing more than an object. She was beaten, and used however her "master" saw fit.

Silver was devastated.

Kirk, her new master, is just OMG. I must admit I wanted to hate him so bad!

In the beginning to me, he was just like the other monsters that was apart of the kidnapping.

I really don't want to give anything away in this review, but what I will say was Skye takes you on a wild ride with Irrevocable. Though some of the story is dark, and some parts are hard to read, it was an AMAZING story!

Their is a huge OMG factor in the story that leaves you like WOW!

This story was freaking great. I can't say much without giving anything away, so if you like a dark read that has a little light at the end of the tunnel, get your hands on this book!!!

I give Irrevocable a well deserved 5 stars!

Thanks to Wicked Reads for a free book to read and review. Lovely read that captured my attention and sucked me in. Well written and steamy for a dark intense read. I happen to love dark romance stories that have Stockholm syndrome in them. This book fed that insane need I have to read such dark, and intense situations that include nonconsensual sex, slavery, and other sexual acts. The synopsis caught my eye right off, and that cover was hot as hell. The plot for the book was really good, and I read the book in one sitting. So if you love dark love stories, this one didn't disappoint me. Overall entertainment was five stars. The characters had really good chemistry and the situations were constructed so you could immerse yourself in this stories scenes as if you were part of it. Captivating in the least.

I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.
*Warning not intended for anyone under the age of 18. This book contains strong sexual content, abuse, rape, and violence.

Rose set out for a night out with her friends, but she would awake confused, tied up, and surrounded by strange men. Where was she and why was she taken? Kirk was on the inside, and took Rose on as his own "pet" in order to try and protect her from the other men. But Kirk was nothing like a savior. Rose was expected to lose her identity, her name, her words, her manners, everything to succumb to a life where her only purpose was to serve, do as she is told, or die. Rose had a fight in her and if she could learn to control her temper she might survive.

This was a lucky find for me. I was asked to review this book and I am so glad that I agreed. This was an amazing novel that had me speechless, cringing, in tears, and in a panic. I was shocked, I was horrified, and completely enthralled with the story. At no time during this book was I bored, heartbroken at times yes, anticipating what would happen next yes, but never bored. Each character was well developed, the basis is well developed and the writing style was creative and unique. It's not all sexual content, but a battle both internally and the battle that is happening around Rose and Kirk, and her will to survive and make it out alive. I will warn you, this novel is very graphic, so go into it knowing that this is a very dark story, and not some sappy love story.

If you enjoyed Twist Me by Anna Zaires or Hero by Leighton Del Mia you will fall in love with this dark tale as well. The next in the series is Bend, Don't Break and I believe is told from James POV, I will be starting that one immediately! Start this one when you have some time to read it all, I had a hard time putting it down, get ready for a new book to be obsessed with and be thankful that you aren't left with a cliffhanger!

Thank you so much to Skye Callahan for the opportunity to read and review this amazingly dark novel.

I’m writing my reviews backwards since I wrote my review for Bend, Don’t Break first. I may sound a little repetitive, but you’ll forgive me, right?

I read Irrevocable and Bend, Don’t Break back to back. One right after the other. I would suggest you do the same, if you haven’t. While Irrevocable can be read as a stand alone, going on to Bend, Don’t Break will give you more of Kirk and Silver, more answers, and take you beyond Irrevocable.

In Irrevocable, Silver wakes up held captive and being attacked by a group of men.

Kirk walks in on this and though the odds are not in his favor, he manages to get her away from the men (of his “organization”) without them further brutalizing her, essentially claiming her as his own slave.

That is as far into the story as I will go because I don’t want to spoil anything.

I can honestly say that if Irrevocable was a movie, I would have watched a lot of it from between my fingers. There were moments that I physically winced as we were brought into these scenes that I think could break the strongest of women. I was turning the pages fast and hoping against hope that somehow Silver would get out of there somehow. I mean, it’s a book, we’re supposed to have a HEA right? (I know, I know, not always.) I kept hoping that Kirk would find some place in his heart to be kind to her. He had to because he got her away from those guys. Or was it going to be like those guys except that he preferred working solo.

This book pulled on my heart strings so hard. It was amazing. I finished reading this and immediately pulled up Bend, Don’t Break (at that point, I completely understood the title to the next book in how it relates to the characters) and started devouring it. The characters in this book are so strong, both on the side of good and evil (or kind of gray). The “bad” guys were so twisted that I could feel their words and her reaction to the “games” that were played just through the writing.

I’m saying it again, it was amazing. I loved it! 5 stars from me. I want to devour everything Skye Callahan has written previous to this now.

Though I received an ARC through the tour (thank you), I also bought this one previously when it came out because I wanted to read it.
