Fascinating read from page one. I feel like normally it's the heroine that can feel a ghosts presence and gets haunted, but this one the hero did and I love it! Declan was a dream. I did find the ending a bit odd. I wasn't sure what to make of it. But overall, a fantastic story!

(3.5) Bumping a 1/2 star extra because as my first Nora Robert’s novel, I thought she is a great descriptive writer, with some good humor and dialogue.

This book was a little strange…I found myself more intrigued by the past storyline than the current day. The characters were enjoyable & relatable, but I found them trying to figure out their relationship was very repetitive.
Each chapter was like: work on house, flirty romance, ghost chatter and back around for 200 pages! Lol the book could’ve been shorted. I also wanted to love resolution of the past lives, but found it a little odd and in some places hard to follow. I did love the old house setting and imagery Nora provides throughout.

Sexy mystery in NOLA. Formula Nora Roberts, though pretty dark here and there. I found the end a little too weird.

Once again Nora Roberts delivers a fabulous story and complex characters.

There are certain books that just speak to me and this is one of them. The story drew me in from the very beginning and kept me hooked until the very last sentence. I figure this will become one of the few books that gets a re-read next year.

I found the end unsatisfying.
