Interessante il background, ma mi aspettavo più spiriti e meno storie d'amore.
Li Lan si interessa a Lim Tian bai dopo averlo visto solamente una volta. Sembra più attratta dalla bella vita che da lui personalmente, infatti è una passione che sfuma appena trova Er Lang e il suo stile di vita più avventuroso e magico è molto meglio di quello di Tian bai che lascia quindi senza problemi.
Il viaggio nel mondo degli spiriti è un po' un casino onestamente, qualche colpo di scena interessante c'è ma il libro alla fine si trascina un po' troppo lentamente per più di 300 pagine.

The fact that this book has already been made into a Chinese drama makes it so much better.
I enjoyed this way more than I expected to. I selected it for a reading challenge, and while it sounded interesting, I did not expect to become engrossed in the story. Nice character development and worldbuilding. I like the spiritual aspects, the blending of Buddhist beliefs and the Chinese ancestor worship. Looking forward to more from this author.
