I really liked this book. definitely a way better work place romance than the hating game, especially because there wasn’t any faux feminist bullshit in this. i actually found this quite refreshing because often times when i’ve see feminism in literature it’s done so poorly and ends up still belittling or targeting other women. the main character here never shamed other women and i really liked that. i loved how even if there was a part talking about one woman it wasn’t a judgement of her rather a judgement of her actions.

I've been sitting on my review for this one for a few days because I was so interested by it and felt very meh by the end. The chemistry worked, but the characters themselves felt underwhelming. Adding in the drama that did not work for me, I was left feeling lukewarm.
